BSA was officially launched by the Hon’ble Health Minister of Brunei Darussalam, Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman on the 6th June 2009. The function was held in the VIP Hall situated in the fourth floor of The Hotel Rizqun International and was attended by dignitaries from the Ministry of Health and RIPAS Hospital.

The Minister also consented to launch the society website, “www.docnazir.co.cc/test” at this function.

The Minister also released the society’s first contribution to the public, a patient information booklet aptly titled “YOUR ANAESTHESIA”
