Twenty members from the Society of Anaesthesiologists, Brunei Darussalam (BSA) made a working visit recently to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC).In Meeting

The delegation was headed by Dr Hj Zulaidi Hj Abdul Latif, the society’s president.

The purpose of the visit was to foster closer ties between the Anaesthetic Department at UKMMC and BSA.

In addition, the delegates inspected the hospital’s facilities and discussed training opportunities for the staff.

The day began with a series of briefings regarding the Medical Centre, the Anaesthetic Department, the Masters programme in Anaesthesiology as well as the Accident and Emergency Department.

Training centerA question-and-answer session was then carried out before the group was taken on a tour of the hospital.

The society members saw the Labour Ward, Intensive Care Unit, Operating Theatre, the Anaesthetic Department and lastly the Accident and Emergency Department.
